CAMP

camp carolinaCamping in the winter? You can in the Carolinas! Or, if you’d rather, you can rent a cabin or lodge and enjoy the outdoor environment amid all the comforts of home. Camp surrounded by the majesty of the ancient Appalachian Mountains (yes, we do get snow on occasions) or next to a wind-swept Atlantic Ocean beach (and, yes, we do get hurricanes occasionally).

Some of these spots are so popular you must make reservations months before you plan to use them. Others will accommodate you on a first-come first-served basis. Choose a primitive campground and pitch your tent under the Carolina stars. Or drive your RV into one of our modern, fully outfitted sites and enjoy all the conveniences of home – away from home.

  • Government Owned/Operated Campgrounds
includes National Forest/Park, state and local gov’t facilities
  • Privately Owned/Operated Campgrounds
includes church and other organizational and commercial facilities
  • Recreational Vehicle Parks (w/hookups)
these are ‘communities’ – not campgrounds – and are completely outfitted with the amenities RVers have come to expect. Various RV organizations have their own lists and directories; this is independent of any such organization’s.
